We have had the pleasure of diving with Andy for around 6 months now. Andy first came to us in around February as an Advanced Open Water Diver. He stayed for a week or so, just doing a lot of fun dives and enjoying the diving here. Andy then went of traveling around the Philippines to Coron and El Nido. After he realised that Puerto Galera was obviously the best diving around, Andy came back to Puerto and did his EFR and Rescue course with Jenny. After that, Andy decided to do his Divemaster course with Jon.
Divemaster courses can be finished in around 3-4 weeks quiet easily, but Andy was enjoying it so much, and to be honest (don’t tell Andy this), we enjoyed having him around, ended up taking 3 months to complete. He has now become part of the furniture here, always willing to help any guest, and has a fine eye for finding macro.
Andy is going to be doing some guiding for us over the next few weeks, and hopefully longer if we stay busy over low season, else he might go for a wonder around and come back in high season.
