PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) Course

Build your bottom time…and build your confidence as you learn that diving with enriched air isn’t rocket science. Enriched Air (sometimes called “Nitrox”) is recreational diving’s latest tool in the struggle to safely extend no decompression time.

What You Learn

Tblue ribbon divers puertogalera nitroxhe PADI Enriched Air Diver course is designed to teach you the procedures for safe, recreational no decompression diving with enriched air. The course covers the equipment and procedural concerns involving enriched air.

You’ll learn how to plan dives and determine your no decompression limits and your oxygen exposure limits with enriched air. The program addresses the use of enriched air with 22% to 40% Oxygen, with emphasis on enriched air with 32% and 36% oxygen.

Prerequisites

 

  • To participate in the Enriched Air Diver course you will need to be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
  • Be at least 15 years old.

In just one day, after two Enriched Air training dives, you will be certified as an Enriched Air Diver.

Accommodation cost is reduced for 1 day during the course if taking the option with nitrox dives.
