At Blue Ribbon Divers, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund terms for dive courses, fun dives, and related services. We aim to be fair and straightforward — if you need to cancel, just get in touch as early as possible.
Dive Course Cancellations
Cancellation terms for all SDI/TDI dive courses, including Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, and technical diving programmes:
- 14 or more days before the course start date: Full refund.
- 7 to 14 days before the course start date: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund.
Fun Dive Cancellations
- 24 hours or more notice: Full refund.
- Less than 24 hours notice: No refund.
Weather & Safety Cancellations
Your safety always comes first. If we cancel or reschedule a dive activity due to weather conditions, sea state, or any other safety concern, you will receive full credit toward rebooking at a future date at no additional cost. No cash refund is issued for weather cancellations, but you will never be penalised for conditions beyond anyone’s control.
No-Shows
If you do not arrive for your scheduled activity and have not contacted us to cancel or reschedule, no refund will be issued.
Partially Completed Courses
If you are unable to complete a dive course due to personal reasons (illness, scheduling conflicts, etc.), we will issue credit toward completing the course within 12 months of the original start date. This ensures you don’t lose your progress or investment. After 12 months, the credit expires.
Accommodation Cancellations
Room bookings are managed through Little Hotelier and are subject to the cancellation policy displayed at the time of your reservation. Please review the accommodation cancellation terms when making your booking through our reservation system. For questions about an existing accommodation booking, contact us directly.
Environmental & Municipal Fees
Environmental taxes and marine sanctuary entrance fees, once paid to the local government, are non-refundable. These fees are collected on behalf of the Municipality of Mabini and are outside our control.

Please include your booking reference, the service you wish to cancel, and your preferred resolution (refund or reschedule).
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days using the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will arrange an alternative with you.
