Why Tech Dive Anilao?
While many know Anilao for its sandy macro and critter hunting, its deeper reefs are immaculate — overflowing with healthy coral, often sightings of pelagic visitors, and vast unexplored terrain. Visibility is often excellent, and the depth profiles make it perfect for both training and exploration
Jon, the owner of Blue Ribbon Dive Resort and a TDI Technical Diving Instructor, originally moved to Anilao for underwater photography and video. But as he explored deeper, his passion shifted — from macro to exploration. Now, he spends his dives charting new sites, mapping deeper walls, and introducing divers to the Anilao few have ever seen.

We provide complete technical support, including:
- Deco stage and bailout gas fills
- Oxygen and helium blending for custom mixes
- Rebreather support, with access to sorb and a high-pressure booster on-site
- 2 Suex scooters, used for exploration and site mapping
- Experienced guides who know Anilao’s depths like few others
Although Jon doesn’t dive on a rebreather anymore, he ensures that everything needed for CCR divers is ready and available.
If you’re up for an adventure, Jon’s always happy to take willing tech divers along on exploratory dives — sometimes you strike gold, and sometimes… well, that’s the nature of exploration!
