What You Learn
Deep Gas Management
Use appropriate gases and procedures for staged deep diving to 55 m.
Precision Decompression
Run multi-stop decompression with proper ascent pacing, stop discipline, and situational awareness.
Stage Bottle Handling
Gas switches, bottle management, labeling, failures, and emergency procedures.
Safe Dive Conduct, Signals & Problem-Solving
Practice safety protocols, hand & light signals, gas switching, S-drills, emergency procedures, and underwater problem solving under guided conditions.
Course Structure
Before You Arrive – TDI eLearning
Get ahead on theory so your on-site training time is focused on planning, skills, and deep diving — not classroom hours.
Skill Development
Valve shutdowns, emergency drills, deep equipment configuration, stage handling, buoyancy/trim tune-ups.
Shallow Skill Dives
Two training dives applying all drills, propulsion techniques, rescue, ascent practice, and failure simulations.
Actual Decompression Dives
Two real decompression dives to qualifying Extended Range depths on air, using EAN50 and 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression, following full team protocols and precise ascent planning.
Course Prerequisites
Must be 18 years old (or 15 with parental consent)
Certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver, or
equivalents
Provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30 Metres/100 Feet.
You need to complete a Medical Form to make sure you are safe for diving, please review it prior to your course

Jon is the founder of Blue Ribbon Dive Resort in Anilao, Batangas, established in 2010. With over two decades of diving experience, he specializes in technical diving instruction and professional-level SDI/TDI courses.
A passionate explorer and dive educator, Jon is known for discovering new dive sites around Anilao and beyond. He enjoys deep-water exploration and the challenge of spotting elusive pelagic species rarely seen by recreational divers. Whether teaching advanced courses or leading technical expeditions, Jon’s focus is always on safety, precision, and adventure beneath the surface
